I regularly provide 1 hour, 1.5 hour, 2 hour, half day and full day training sessions on various aspects of authentic listening, including:

	• The need to supplement coursebook listening texts • The features of spoken English which make listening so challenging for our students • Selecting and grading appropriate authentic listening materials • Listening comprehension v. listening training • Guidance on writing exercises to accompany authentic listening texts

These talks are accompanied by a selection of recordings from my huge collection, illustrating the various points I make.

I am also available to teach a demonstration lesson using authentic listening materials to a class of students from elementary to advanced level.
