Terms and conditions – no minimum booking period

Flexibility
The aim of The Listening Business is to be as flexible as possible as I am aware that student numbers can vary depending on the time of year and external events.

No contract!
For this reason there is no fixed contract. However, the following conditions apply:

Institutions are requested to inform me by Friday of the preceding week if they wish to start subscribing to either of my BBC services.

Institutions are requested to give me a minimum of two weeks’ notice if they wish to stop subscribing to my services.

All institutions subscribing to my BBC Radio 4 News service must be in possession of an ERA (Educational Recording Agency) licence. (era.org.uk)

Invoices are issued on headed stationery at the end of each month.

Institutions are not permitted to forward my services to third parties, for example to:

a) a sister institution (e.g. a chain of language schools)
b) teachers at other institutions (e.g. teachers who have left)

Any breach of this condition will result in legal action.

If you have any questions, just call me on +44 (0)20 8521 8309 or send an email to sheila@thelisteningbusiness.com
